 Christian Education

We hold Sunday school on every Sunday between Labor Day weekend and Memorial Day Weekend. You are welcome to join us! (Please note: there will be no Sunday school on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.)

10am Adult Classes: During the 10 a.m. hour, nursery care is available. The Adult Sunday School classes will meet during this hour.  In the past few months, we explored God’s will for our lives using the “Why?…" curriculum. The class brought fresh insight into an age-old question of how to understand the will of God. Where is God when tragedy and suffering strike? In "Why?..." best-selling author Adam Hamilton brings fresh insight to this issue. During the Christmas season, we are studying holiday traditions, their origins and significance, and how they can be meaningful to us today. New members are welcome, and submissions of traditions to be researched and discussed encouraged.

Children's Sunday School: During the church worship hour (11am to noon), Nursery, Preschool and Elementary Sunday school classes will meet after the Children's Message (at beginning part of Worship service).

Nursery and Preschool

Nursery and preschool children may go directly to the nursery to check in when arriving, or children may begin the morning in church with their families and sign-in to the nursery after the children's sermon. We request that a parent or guardian always drop off and pick up these students.

Elementary (Grades K - 5)

Children will begin the morning in church with their families, gather for the children's sermon, then go to their classroom with a teacher.  This year we are combining grade levels in a "one room school" format using the same Grow, Proclaim, Serve curriculum as the previous two years.  The class will be taught by both a volunteer lead teacher and a volunteer assistant.  Lead teachers will serve in rotation for two months at a time.  The assistants will rotate weekly.  Teen helpers will assist in the class as well.  Please meet your children promptly in the Wesley Room after the service. Keep your eyes open for information on the new Grades K-5 Youth Group that will meet monthly for one hour.
