Dear Members and Friends of Ardmore Church,
Please join us in welcoming Pastor Tamie J. Scalise, who will serve as our new Pastor beginning July 1, 2023.
Pastor Tamie worked as a public school teacher before resigning to pursue her call to ministry. In 2020 she was ordained as an elder. Tamie began her pastoral career as an associate pastor at First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG). From there, she returned to serve her home church, Calvary UMC of Mohnton. In addition to her missional work in Haiti, Tamie serves on many committees: Whites Confronting Racism, Committee on Religion & Race, Economic Justice Council, CR/CC Trainer and South District DCOM. With both of her children in college, Tamie enjoys yoga, hiking and writing poetry.

A message from Pastor Tamie
Dear beloved saints of Ardmore UMC:
May grace and peace from God our Creator and the Lord Jesus Christ surround you. Foremost, I give thanks to God for you, because we are one in faith as family and one in Spirit in Christ's mission of transforming the world. It is with great joy and anticipation that I await meeting you and the community. I am certain that when we come together something beautiful will happen as we are encouraged by each other's faith. Meanwhile, in this time of transition, I hold you in my heart, praying constantly that God's grace, strength and abundant life abide in all through our Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Blessings,
Pastor Tamie
